The band consists of ten musicians: Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka (vocals, violin), Wojciech Topa (vocals, violin), Bartek Kudasik (vocals, viola), Józef Chyo-Scepon (vocals, basy podchalańskie(~cello)), Piotr Rychlec (keyboard), Michał Trąbski (bass guitar), Łukasz Moskal (drums), Tomasz Krawczyk (guitar) and Dominik Trębski (trumpet).

The founder of Zakopower, Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka - vocalist and violinist - has been born in Cracovia. He is an architect of profession. He has been learning to play the violin since he was a child, but started the musical school at the age of 16 and that's when he learned how to read the notes.
